Hepatorestorative and Hepatoprotective Effect of Immulate Herbal Supplement: A Case Report

A 30-year-old single female, an HRO of a company, was diagnosed of liver injury secondary to itraconazole use, possibly compounding an initial adverse effect to isotretinoin use. She presented with jaundice, generalized pruritus, right upper quadrant abdominal pain associated with vomiting. Screening for Hepatitis B, C and HIV turned out negative. Liver Function Test (LFT) was however abnormal. She was started on Immulate Herbal Supplement 4 days after the onset of symptoms. Client noticed a significant improvement in her condition within 48 hours of taking Immulate, and by the 8th day, Client’s LFT’s had improved, and was stable to return to work. It could be concluded that, Immulate Herbal Supplement reversed secondary isotretinoin/itraconazole-induced liver injury in patient. Immulate Herbal Supplement has hepatoprotective and hepatorestorative effects.
